CONTENT:

Media Arts is digital storytelling where students create short narrative films, podcasts, music videos, and social media content. The subject is a hands-on experience where students take on specific production roles including scriptwriter, director, presenter or performer, designer, and editor. Students collaborate as producers, engaging with marketing and distribution to bring their projects to life ready for an audience.Ìý

In Media Arts we create content for our youtube channel and students may take part in excursions to the cinema, Flinders University orÌý the Adelaide Film Festival. Media Arts builds confidence, empathy, self-awareness and creativity. Students learn how to use digital technologies to bring their creative stories to life and team problem solving.

Assessment includes practical film and media content creation, investigations, and evaluations. Media Arts continues into the senior years as aÌý Creative Arts program and there are real opportunities beyond school with growth in our creative industries
