CONTENT
Course content will be a selection of the following:

Practical activities

Participate in a range ofÌý outdoor activities including camp, rock climbing and aquatics. Students actively plan for and lead components of the course.

Environmental fieldwork

Students work with local community members to learn about current environmental threats, and work collaboratively to implement sustainable strategies.

Connections with natural environments

Students link their experiences in Outdoor Education with a current and relevant environmental issue of their choosing.

ASSESSMENT TYPES

Experiences in natural environments (50%)

Undertake a range of outdoor activities including camp, rock climbing and aquatics.Demonstrate planning, leadership and development of knowledge and skills in the outdoors.

About natural environments (20%)

Students collaborate with local community members to learn about and implement sustainable practices to improve biodiversity

Connections with natural environments (30%)

Students link their experiences in Outdoor Education with a current and relevant environmental issue of their choosing.
